Taganrog is the center of innovation technologies

Deputy of the Head of Rostov region Administration Alexander Noskov and Taganrog city mayor Nikolay Fedyanin visited the Engineering Center of JSC “EMAlliance” and got familiar with up-to-date developments of Russian engineers.

The guests pointed out that JSC “EMAlliance” consolidates the experience of all domestic power machine building schools and possibility to attract the world largest manufacturers to the development and realization of innovative technologies for domestic power industry.

Today Taganrog engineers ensure the development and adaptation of advanced recovery boilers for combined-cycle plants (CCP) under the Licensing Agreement with American company NOOTER / ERIKSEN. Such equipment allows to increase the efficiency of the unit. The first in Russia and the second in the world boiler for installation on the basis of circulating fluidized bed is under development. This equipment allows to burn in the circulating fluidized bed wide range of fuels even the coal slurry which significantly reduces the percentage of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Modern power equipment with the use of these technologies are being manufactured on JSC TKZ “Krasny Kotelshchik”, the first assembly units of modern boilers are shipped to Customers.

Now the project on engineering the experimental power generating unit on ultra super critical steam parameters with the use of nannopatterened structural steels is in process. Such power plants can reduce specific fuel consumption by 20%, the cost of electricity produced by 15% and emissions of greenhouse gases by 20-30%.

Energy efficiency and environmental safety on the level of international rules and standards are the priorities of Taganrog engineers when designing new innovative equipment for Russian power industry. The company develops close partnership with many research institutes of our country and signed the Cooperation Agreement with one of the most prestigious institutions in energy sector – “All _Russia heat engineering institute”.
