Timur Avdeenko: "Our future is connected with export". Interview for magazine Expert-Jug".

In the nearest five years PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik which is the part of Joint Stock Company Energo Machinostroitelny Alliance (EMAlliance) is planning to triple its manufacture. The holding is expanding its business activity not only within Russia, but also in the markets of Europe, South-East Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

Public Joint Stock Company EnergoMachinostroitelny Alliance is one of the leading Russian power engineering companies which has completed a purchase of Croatian Company “Đuro Đaković“and become the biggest Europeen manufacturer of thermal power boiler equipment. Timur Avdeenko, the President of PJSC EMAlliance, told the News Agency RIA Novosty about EMAlliance strategy in the European market, about the failed merger with OJSC «INTER RAO» and the plans of IPO and many other things.

– The partnership relations have been formed since JSC Gazprom joining the power generation industry as a strategic investor. One may say that our cooperation has been predestined, as EMAlliance is one of the largest power-plant engineering companies in Russia. Our main plant asset is the Works Krasny Kotelshchik in Taganrog. Its history numbers already 114 years, and 80 % of the heat exchange equipment installed at power plants in Russia and CIS countries has Krasny Kotelshchik’s stamp. But our business is not only the production, we also expand as an engineering company by specializing in the design, manufacture and complete delivery of the boiler island equipment (i.e. the boiler proper and all associated equipment), as is common to say, the turn-key delivery.

In 2008 EMAlliance, the historic market leader in Russian boiler manufacturing launched the very ambitious investment strategy plan 2012, which is now at its halfway stage. In between, the economic situation has drastically changed. Could you please explain to our readers the main objectives of this strategic plan? How have economic factors altered your strategy?
